I was thinking about that nightlight lately and wondering how simple it would be to make a new one that better matched my bathroom decor. Nightlights in the nursery are a great idea since they don't give out too much light and won't keep the baby awake, but they do give off enough light to see when you need to go in late at night.
2. Cute DIY Book Nightlights
These DIY book nightlights are ideal for parents or anybody who enjoys the written word. This requires a hardcover book, so if you don't have one on hand, try your local thrift shops. They usually offer them for a $1 or less each book. These are incredibly simple to put together and look stunning simply sitting on the dresser with a little light shining through.
3. Pint-Sized Mason Jar Clear Nightlight
I adore this small mason jar lamp. Simply add an LED candle or string lights and put it on some rustic wood. You can even accomplish it with a regular nightlight, which has an easy-to-access on/off button. This would be a simple DIY project, or you could check out the one I found on Etsy. For children, this DIY constellation jar nightlight is ideal. This is a simple DIY project that can be completed using a tiny mason or jelly jar. You just need the jar, a disposable cake pan, some lights, and a few art tools. Make any constellation you desire, or create your own. Kids will like the soothing light it emits and seeing the stars dance on their walls and ceilings at night.
5. A whimsical DIY Motel Sign Nightlight
I like this small nightlight that resembles an old-fashioned hotel sign. 9. Frosted Beach Theme. Mason Jar Nightlight
I like a good mason jar DIY project, and this little frosted jar with a beach motif is one of my favorite nightlight ideas. If you want to create it, this is a very simple project. Simply get some empty mason jars, frost them with the proper paint, and then add your beach-themed decorations. 10. DIY Light Up Fireflies
Your children will appreciate these little fireflies that double as nightlights. You build them out of plastic Easter eggs, and they are quite charming. These take very little ingredients or resources to construct, and no adhesive is necessary. You just need a battery-powered light, a plastic egg for each one, and some craft tools to decorate and transform them into charming tiny fireflies.
11. Cute DIY Hot Air Balloon Night Light
For children, this DIY hot air balloon nightlight is ideal. It's quite colorful, making it ideal for daytime décor, and the balloon lights up at night, providing a lovely glow in their bedroom. You can create this out of repurposed tin cans, which is even better in my opinion since it transforms garbage into treasure. This is ideal for nurseries and toddler bedrooms.
