 Hot Honey Recipe

Hot honey is honey that has been infused with red pepper flakes. It has a unconfined spicy heat that pairs so well with the sweetness. Made with just 3 ingredients, it’s incredibly easy to make. Besides stuff simple to make, if you’re making homemade hot honey, you’re worldly-wise to retread the spiciness to your liking.

Drizzle it on pizza, salads, tacos or biscuits, drench your yellow with it, or plane add it to your tea. My favorite way to enjoy it – you can make succulent dips with it, like the one I’ll be sharing next week!

How To Make It:

Making hot honey couldn’t be easier. You add your ingredients to a saucepan, heat it up, and let it cool. You can leave in the red pepper flakes to protract to let them infuse the honey (making it spicier), or strain them out. The recipe unelevated is a small batch, but you can hands double it if you’re going to be eating a lot of it!

What You’ll Need:

  • honey
  • crushed red pepper flakes
  • apple cider vinegar – the world cider vinegar is not necessary, it adds a bit of tanginess to the honey. You could do a couple of dashes of hot sauce instead of (or in wing to) the vinegar.
  • saucepan
  • storage jar for honey
  • small mesh sieve
