I’m a Sky expert and TV owners are missing a hidden button that sorts out annoying problem disrupting shows
SKY has loads of features to uplift your TV but some are increasingly welcome than others.
Fortunately, you have the power to switch them off.
Little-known sawed-off could solve the problem for you[/caption]One such tool that you may not like is the voice controls on Sky Glass.
It’s meant to be helpful, permitting you to summon shows and channels simply using your voice.
You don’t plane have to hold the remote up like you do on Sky Q and Sky Stream.
All you have to do is say, “Hello Sky” followed by your command.
However, I’ve recently found the full-length worrying as it will popup by mistake from my conversations.
The final straw was last night when it interrupted a key bit of a game.
Others have complained well-nigh the same problem.
“It is extremely sensitive and very worrying when watching somehting and it keeps coming up,” one user wrote on the Sky forum.
So I’ve decided to turn it off – and there’s a little-known sawed-off to do just that.
How to turn off Sky Glass voice activation
It’s really easy to turn voice vivification off on Sky Glass.
To the right of your TV there are two buttons – an on/off switch and a microphone button.
Press the microphone sawed-off and it will no longer listen out for commands.
Better still, you can protract to use the microphone sawed-off on your Sky remote so you’re not missing out entirely.
